Sara Johnoff, MSW, LISW

Clinical Therapist

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and received my master’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University; I also have bachelor's degree in psychology from Dominican University. I have experience working with young adults, adults, and seniors in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings, who are dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, relationship issues, addiction, and more.

It is important to me to work jointly with clients to create goals that will allow them to be successful in moving forward, while understanding that the journey looks different for each person. My hope is to always provide a safe, empathetic space where clients from all walks of life feel comfortable to share and grow. I understand the courage it takes to ask for help and I take that seriously.

I use a combination of approaches when working with clients including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma-Informed and motivational interviewing.
