Jessica Beers, MSW, LSW

Clinical Therapist

Hello! My name is Jessica Beers, MSW, LSW (she/her). I am a Licensed Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults. I enjoy getting to know my clients and helping them achieve the goals they have set for themselves. I have a master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern California. In every session, I bring compassion, empathy, knowledge, and the skill to help empower individuals on their healing journey.

I integrate evidence-based modalities into all of my sessions to help provide successful outcomes. Some of the interventions I utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). I use these approaches to help individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation, and life transitions. I understand that each problem or concern may require a different approach, and I am open to exploring different modalities or approaches to best suit the client’s needs.

I began working in the field in 2015 in a therapeutic residential program. Since then, I’ve worked in schools as a school-based therapist, in medical facilities providing case management, and in outpatient mental health settings offering therapy. I believe all of these experiences have provided me with an abundance of knowledge to better understand and address the needs of my clients.

I believe trust, safety, and understanding are the foundations of a strong therapeutic relationship. I strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for my clients to share aspects of their lives that might be difficult to talk about and to provide them with effective and healthy coping skills. I have been successful throughout my career thus far in helping clients reach their goals and even surpass their expectations. My passion lies in empowering individuals to build resilience, enhance self-awareness, and create lasting, positive change. My goal is to help each person not just survive but thrive. My focus is to work together as a team to manage and stabilize mental health and help clients reach their potential and what they originally thought was impossible.

I also believe it is important when building strong rapport and relationships that a client can get to know me a little bit. I promote self-care in my sessions, so here are some ways that I practice self-care: you can find me enjoying the great outdoors in my kayak, doing some fishing, attending local sporting events, or traveling. I also believe a great support system does wonders, so I try to spend lots of time with friends and family. I also believe that our pets have a strong effect on our emotional well-being and that they provide us support. I know that my cat, Tadpole, provides me with support when needed.

I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you during your healing journey!
