Nicholas Ruyack, SWT

Clinical Therapist Intern

Hello! My name is Nick and I am passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their inner strengths. I earned a bachelor's degree in social work from The Ohio State University and am currently pursuing my master's degree in social work at the University of Louisville.

My areas of expertise include working with individuals managing depression, anxiety, ADHD, and addiction. I believe that every person possesses innate resilience, which can be cultivated to promote healing, growth, and lasting change.

In our work together, I strive to be a compassionate guide, walking beside you as we address obstacles and uncover new possibilities. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

I like to think of the mind as a garden: with consistent care and attention, it can thrive. Together, we will work to remove the “weeds” of negativity, plant seeds of positivity, and nurture a healthier, more vibrant sense of well-being. Whether you are dealing with daily stressors or navigating more complex mental health concerns, I am here to provide support, encouragement, and tools to help you build a more fulfilling life. Let’s work together to unlock your potential and create the life you envision.
